The balloon series began at the age of 27, triggered by the onset of panic attacks. What started as an inexplicable sense of anxiety gradually became so overwhelming that it made daily life difficult to maintain. During this time, the artist had a vision of a red balloon slowly rising from the darkness, resembling a faint beam of light from the abyss. This experience led the artist to start drawing balloons, and in doing so, the anxiety began to subside. From that point on, the balloon became a symbol of hope, pulling the artist out of the depths of panic. The balloon emerged in the artwork as both a representation of anxiety and a means of resolution, serving as a window through which to view the world.
