Lee Sara is a painter who received her PhD in Fine Arts from Hongik University and continues to work actively across various exhibitions. Her theme, Wonderland, is an imagined world shaped by her dreams, where love, happiness, and curiosity come together. The girls in her paintings are fictional figures drawn from memories and emotions of her childhood and serve as vessels that reflect personal wishes. Through scenes where bright eyed girls travel with their monster companions through this imagined space, she conveys a warm and dreamlike mood rooted in innocence and imagination. She has presented around forty five solo exhibitions at venues including Gana Art Space, Insa Art Center, Gallery Daon, M Contemporary in Thailand, The Trinity Gallery, and the full exhibition hall of Jeju Grand Josun Hotel. She has also participated in many group exhibitions and art fairs at home and abroad. Her works are included in the collections of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Art Bank, Space Mom Museum of Art, Moran Museum of Art, Seohu Museum of Art, and Seoul Museum of Art, as well as organizations and companies such as the Heart Heart Foundation, Adidas, Raon Stay, USC Dental Clinic Seoul, Dodam Estate, and Sookmyung Women’s University, along with private collectors in Korea and overseas.
