WORLD ART EXPO SEOUL 2025
The World Art Expo Seoul 2025 is a global art fair full of diversity and creativity with the International Association of Arts (IAA) aims for a global platform, where artists based in acclaimed galleries in Korea and abroad from all over the world participate to bring together excellent artworks from various genres such as paintings, sculpture, photography installations. etc. This year, especially the third Art Expo Seoul 2025 has a special project we're offering an exclusive benefit for overseas galleries to join our galleries and artists to make a fabulous art event with many ardent visitors to enlarge the Korean art market's booming after 2 times the Frieze Art Fair was held in Seoul with huge success. The World Art Expo Seoul 2025 allows participating galleries to experience the emerging art market with new emotions and draw the public's curiosity through many artists at home and abroad and various provocative works that will lead and make a new trend in the future of contemporary art. Besides, this significant art fair is supported by The International Association of Art (IAA) which is a global UNESCO cooperation organization that aims to protect artists' social and economic freedom and status. 월드 아트 엑스포 서울 2025은 국제조형예술협회 (IAA International Association of Art)는 예술가들의 사회적, 경제적 자유와 지위를 보호하는데 목적을 둔 세계적인 유네스코(UNESCO) 협력기구입니다. 월드아트엑스포는 국제조형예술협회(IAA)와 함께하는 다양성과 창의성이 넘치는 글로벌 아트페어로, 세계 각국에서 주목받고 있는 예술가들이 참여하여 다양한 장르의 미술 작품을 한자리에 모아 선보입니다. 월드아트엑스포는 현대미술의 미래를 이끌어갈 국내외 많은 작가들과 다양한 작품들을 통해서 새로운 감동을 경험할 수 있습니다.
Lee Sukju
Starting in the late 1970s, this artist began creating hyper-realistic works and became a pioneer of Korean hyperrealism. In 1981, he won an award at the 30th National Art Exhibition, and in 1983, he received the Gold Medal at the Asia Art Biennale. Over more than 40 years, he has continuously explored the concepts of time and existence, even in the face of a challenging reality. His highly detailed depictions invite us to reconsider the essence of time, not as something that simply passes, but as something that permeates our inner world, leading us into a space of reflection and contemplation. 1976년 홍익대학교 미술대학 서양화과를, 1981년 동 대학원 서양화과를 졸업했다. 1987년부터 30 년간 숙명여자대학교 미술대학 회화과 교수로 재직했다. 1970년대 후반부터 극사실주의적 작업을 시작해 1981년 제30회 국전에서 특선을, 1983년 아시아 미술비엔날레에서 금상을 수상한 한국 극사실주의 1세대 작가이다.

Ha TaeIm
Ha Tae Im is an artist recognized for her fresh and contemporary approach to abstraction. By layering vibrant colors onto the canvas, she creates modern compositions in which each hue sensuously embodies human thought, emotion, mood and feeling, carrying its own meaning and narrative. The brilliant yet refined colors and forms revealed through overlapping paint give her work a sophisticated presence. Her paintings are characterized by multiple bands of color that overlap to form bright, luminous surfaces. With a visual language rich in rhythm, almost like viewing a single measure of music, she continues to develop a distinctive and original artistic world. 하태임은 새로운 감각의 추상화로 주목받아 온 작가이다. 강렬한 색채를 캔버스에 쌓아올려 모던한 구성을 만들어 내며 색상 하나 하나에 인간의 사고와 정서, 느낌과 기분을 감각적으로 구현하며 고유한 의미나 이야기를 담아낸다. 물감의 겹침에서 드러나는 화려하면서도 정제된 색채와 형태가 세련된 느낌으로 다가온다. 그녀의 작품은 수많은 색띠들이 중첩되어 맑고 화사한 화면을 구성하고 있는 것이 특징이며, 마치 음악의 한 소절을 보는 듯한 리듬감 넘치는 조형언어를 바탕으로 독창적인 작품세계를 펼치고 있다.

KIM Jihee
Kim Jihee is known for her Sealed Smile series, characterized by images of smiling women, animals and jewel-adorned glasses, through which she explores themes of existence and desire. She began the Sealed Smile series in 2008. 김지희 작가는 미소 짓는 여성, 동물, 보석으로 장식된 안경의 이미지를 특징으로 하는 Sealed Smile 시리즈로 인정을 받았으며, 존재와 욕망의 주제를 전달한다. 그녀의 Sealed Smile 시리즈는 2008년에 시작되었다.

Hwang Inran
Hwang Inran’s figurative works are grounded in existentialist philosophy, drawing significant inspiration from the ideas and writings of Albert Camus. Her paintings express the conflict or dilemma between the quiet introspection sought by the individual and the dazzling, beautiful outer world. They also explore the tension we constantly experience between an absurd world, imperfect human nature and the moments in life that cannot be overcome. At the same time, her work reflects the desire to reshape and renew oneself despite these persistent struggles. 황인란 작가의 인물작업의 철학적 배경은 실존주의 철학이며, 그 중에서도 알베르트 카뮈의 사상과 글속에서 많은 영감을 받았다. 화려하고 아름다운 외부세계와는 다르게 조용히 자신의 내면을 응시하고자 하는 인물 사이의 갈등이나 딜레마로도 표현되었고, 부조리한 세상과 불완전한 인간 그리고 극복할 수 없는 어떤 지점들 사이에서 우리는 늘 갈등하지만 다른 한편 자신을 새롭게 만들어 가고자 하는 열망도 그렸다.

Ko Young-jin
Following the “road” depicted in Ko Young-jin’s works, one encounters a blend of juniper forest scents and the earthy smell of unpaved paths. The rural landscapes she encountered while driving old cars are reconstructed through her unique perspective. Though they may appear to be ordinary countryside scenes, the landscapes recreated from memories of her childhood contain familiar yet strangely unfamiliar elements scattered throughout. Life, like a grueling rollercoaster or a dusty unpaved road, can feel rough and unpredictable. Yet in her paintings these roads ultimately lead to my castle, to home, and to my mother’s field which are destinations filled with warmth, belonging, and deeply personal meaning. 고영진 작가의 작품 속 ‘길’을 따라가다 보면 향나무 숲의 향기와 비포장도로의 흙 내음이 뒤섞여 있다. 올드카를 타고 달리며 만난 시골 풍경은 작가의 시선을 통해 재구성되었다. 흔한 시골 풍경 같아 보이지만 유년 시절의 경험을 바탕으로 재구성한 시골의 모습은 익숙한 듯 하면서도 낯설게 느껴지는 소재들이 곳곳에 등장한다. 인생은 마치 힘겨운 롤러코스터 같고, 흙먼지가 풀풀 날리는 비포장도로 같다. 하지만 그 길은 ‘나의 성으로’, ‘집으로’ ‘어머니의 밭’으로 향한다.

Moon SeonMee
She was born on the Taean Peninsula in Chungcheongnam-do and entered Sungshin Women’s University in 1988, where she majored in Western painting. After marrying in 1996, she had two children and held her first solo exhibition in 2009 at the age of forty. Her childhood experiences of playing in lush nature and the loss of a sibling had a profound impact on her artistic life. After marriage, raising children under difficult circumstances became the theme of her work Tears. The series Garden reflects personal desires embedded within the finiteness of life. She expresses the everyday stories and emotions of the people around her through exaggerated visual language conveyed through gazes, gestures and sometimes symbolic props. 문선미 작가는 충남 태안 반도에서 태어나 1988년 성신여자대학교에 입학하여 서양화를 전공하였다. 1996년 결혼 후 두 자녀를 얻고 2009년 40세의 나이에 첫 개인전을 열었다. 어린 시절의 푸르른 자연 속에서의 놀이와 형제의 죽음은 작가적 삶에 큰 여행을 주었고 결혼 후 어려운 환경 속에서 자녀의 양육은 <눈물>이라는 그림의 주제가 되었다. <정원>은 유한한 삶에 대한 개인의 욕망이 스며 있다. 주변 인물의 일상적 이야기와 감정을 눈빛으로 몸짓으로 때론 소품을 사용해 과장된 어법으로 표현한다.

YUN SONG – A
낙타를 주제로 한 작품으로 국내외 대중들의 주목을 받고 있는 현대 미술 작가이다. 홍익대학교 회화과를 전공했으며 낙타 시리즈는 지난 2014년 방영된 SBS'괜찮아, 사랑이야'에 공개되면서 작품의 미적 의미와 드라마의 스토리가 조화를 이뤘다는 호평을 받았다. 작가가 그리는 낙타, 눈, 꽃 자화상 테마는 꿈과 희망을 이야기하며 현대인들에게 '내면의 목소리에 귀를 기울여야 할 때' 라는 메세지를 전한다.

Lee Sara
Lee Sara first gained recognition in the art world for her doll paintings, which feature highly realistic techniques and classical compositions. Since then, she has actively developed her practice through numerous gallery exhibitions and corporate art collaborations. Stylistically, her work combines painting with reflections on intellectual and cultural history, while drawing on the influences of Pop Art and Hyperrealism. 매우 사실적인 표현으로 고전적인 구성의 인형 그림은 작가의 이름을 미술계에 알렸고, 이후 여러 갤러리 전시와 기업 아트콜라보를 진행하며 활발한 작가활동을 해왔다. 작가의 작업은 양식적으로 회화를 정신사 또는 문화사와 결합하는 사유와 함께 팝아트와 하이퍼리얼리즘의 영향을 받은 회화를 보여준다.
