UNKNOWNVIBES Art Fair (UVAF) presents not only painting but also a diverse range of works including sculpture, media art, and installation. The fair features a broad spectrum of artists—from emerging talents gaining recognition in Korea and abroad to world-renowned masters—as well as historical works of fine antique art with significant cultural value. 언노운 바이브 아트페어(UVAF)는 회화 작품 뿐 아니라 조각, 미디어아트, 설치예술 등 다양한 예술작품을 비중있게 다룰 뿐 아니라 국내외 유먕한 신진작가부터 세계적인 거장의 작품 역사적인 가치를 지닌 고미술 작품 등도 출품됩니다.

He depicts rural landscapes and old cars, presenting everyday life from a unique perspective. His works evoke a sense of nostalgia and invite viewers to rediscover the quiet beauty found in daily moments. 시골 풍경과 올드카를 소재로 하여, 일상적인 삶의 모습을 독특한 시각으로 표현한다. 관람객에게 향수를 불러일으키며, 일상 속 아름다움을 재발견하게 한다.

MeME MeME projects the lonely realities of contemporary people—those living in the same era—onto her imaginative world of “PIGME,” where characters retain the pure, unselfconscious smiles of childhood. Through her MIX-VERSE practice (a fusion of mix media + universe), spanning digital works, painting, and installation, she conveys messages of hope. Her signature “Pigme” character is a pig whose self-esteem has been worn down by the pressures of modern society. Highly conscious of others’ words and gazes, Pigme has rabbit-like oversized ears and a tiny mouth that reflects timidness. Its heart-shaped goggles symbolize a lighthouse guiding toward a childlike dreamland, encouraging viewers to see the world with optimism and freedom. 미미작가는 같은 동시대를 살아가는 현대인들의 고독한 삶의 모습을 자의식이 없는 어린시절의 해맑은 웃음을 간직한 ‘피그미’ 라는 세계관에 투영시켜 디지털 부터 회화, 설치 미술 까지 다양한 접점의 MIX-VERSE (MIX MEDIA + UNIVERS) 매체를 통해 희망의 메세지를 하는 작업을 한다. 시그니처 ‘피그미’ 캐릭터터는 사회생활에 찌들어 자존감이 낮아진 돼지로 태어나 주위의 말과 시선을 의식해 토끼처럼 커진 귀와 소심해서 작아진 입을 가졌다. 자유로운 비행을 위한 하트 고글은 동심 속 꿈을 향한 낙원을 비추는 등대를 상징하고 세상을 긍정적으로 바라볼 수 있게 의도 하였다.

Having studied calligraphy from an early age, he incorporates calligraphic elements with surrealist automatism and abstract expressionist action painting to convey the dynamic energy of invisible forces. Through his art, he invites viewers to reflect on their inner selves and discover deeper connections with the world around them. 박방영 작가는 동서양의 회화 기법을 유기적으로 결합하여, 고유한 선과 색채를 통해 자연의 미적 가치를 표현하는 작가이다. 어린 시절부터 서예를 공부해온 그는 서예적 요소에 초현실주의적 자동기술법과 추상표현주의의 액션 페인팅 기법을 접목시켜, 보이지 않는 힘의 역동적인 에너지를 화면에 담아낸다. 유려하고 춤추는 듯한 획과 자연에서 비롯된 색감이 특징인 그의 작품은 잊혀진 감각을 일깨우고 자연과 인간의 상호작용을 드러낸다. 이를 통해 관람객이 자신의 내면을 성찰하고 주변 세계와의 더 깊은 연결을 발견하도록 초대한다.

He fills the canvas with lively repetitions of rounded apple forms, saturating the surface with rhythmic energy. During his studies in France, he happened upon a decaying apple on a dining table and casually sketched it like a doodle—an encounter that gave new meaning to his art and eventually led to his recognition as a painter of apples. For the artist, the apple represents a universe of infinite forms and serves as a medium for communicating with the world. Shapes that remain hidden, or that emerge only when one moves closer and then steps back again, reveal the subtle messages the artist intends to convey. 둥근 사과의 형상을 활기차게 반복하여 캔버스의 공간을 가득 채운다. 프랑스 유학시절 우연히 식탁 위의 썩어가고 허물어져가는 사과를 낙서처럼 드로잉 한 이후 그리는 것에 새로운 의미를 더하며 사과를 그리는 화가로 알려져 있다. 작가에게 사과는 무한한 형태를 지니고 있는 우주이며, 세상과 소통하는 표현의 방식이다. 숨겨져 있고, 가까이 다가갔다가 뒤로 몇 걸음 물러 났을 때 보이는 형상은 작가가 우리에게 메시지를 보내려고 한다는 것을 이해할 수 있다.

StoneRock boldly incorporates these gimmicks into his pieces, directly confronting and engaging viewers. By weaving current social issues into his art, he continuously explores new perspectives, motifs, and themes, aiming to communicate with the public through fresh and innovative approaches. 스마일(명칭: ENOTS)이라는 캐릭터를 중심으로 풀어내는 스토리를 표현하며 작품의 베이스에는 삶으로부터 부딪혀내는 여러가지 감정들이 깔려 있다. 스톤락 작가에게 작품은 대중과의 연결고리이자 소통의 매개체로써 작품을 통해 긍정적인 에너지를 전달하고자 한다. 스톤락 작가의 작품 속에 설정된 기믹(Gimmick)은 보통 대중의 관심이나 주의를 끌어내기 위해 이용되는 콘셉트나 효과, 설정과 같은 방식들로 이러한 기믹을 과감하게 대입하며 대중과 직면한다. 작가는 현재 이슈화 되는 쟁점들을 작업과 결합하여 항상 다른 관점의 모티브와 테마를 가지고 새로운 접근을하며 대중과 소통하기를 원한다.

She is a contemporary artist gaining attention both in Korea and abroad for her works themed around camels. A graduate of Hongik University’s Department of Painting, her Camel Series received widespread praise after appearing in the 2014 SBS drama It’s Okay, That’s Love, where the aesthetic meaning of her artwork harmonized seamlessly with the show’s narrative. With recurring motifs such as camels, eyes, flowers, and self-portraits, the artist shares stories of dreams and hope, delivering a message to modern viewers: “It is time to listen to your inner voice.” 낙타를 주제로 한 작품으로 국내외 대중들의 주목을 받고 있는 현대 미술 작가이다. 홍익대학교 회화과를 전공했으며 낙타 시리즈는 지난 2014년 방영된 SBS'괜찮아, 사랑이야'에 공개되면서 작품의 미적 의미와 드라마의 스토리가 조화를 이뤘다는 호평을 받았다. 작가가 그리는 낙타, 눈, 꽃 자화상 테마는 꿈과 희망을 이야기하며 현대인들에게 '내면의 목소리에 귀를 기울여야 할 때' 라는 메세지를 전한다.
